FAIR TRADE ORGANIC
All our coffees are USDA organic, including our flavored and Swiss Water Process® decaffeinated coffees. This provides the cleanest, healthiest coffee experience with no chemical undertones. Also, every coffee bean we use is Fair Trade Certified. This combination of health and social consciousness, along with the skill of small batch craftsmanship, is what makes The Good Java life-changing coffee!
What does USDA Certified Organic Coffee mean to you?
It means that each step in the coffee process is required to follow strict USDA organic standards by certified organizations. These steps are closely monitored and tracked with accompanying documentation; a failure at any one of these steps, including those performed by our company, would result in the loss of the product’s organic status. We only ship coffee to you that has successfully maintained its qualifications as a USDA Organic product the whole way through, no exceptions!
The reason this is important to you is that by adhering to the USDA Organic requirements,
WE AVOID exposure to the following:
• Conventional Pesticides/Herbicides
• Synthetic Fertilizers
• Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)
• Toxic Processing Chemicals
These contaminants are best left out of the soil and water supply of the farming environment, out of the harvested and processed coffee beans and, most importantly, out of you!
By looking at our label and seeing the USDA Certified logo, you are assured that the coffee you are drinking has maintained its organic status all the way from the tree to your doorstep. It’s a good feeling, knowing that you have made the conscious decision to consume top quality coffee that is safe, both for you and the environment!
The Good Java Company, LLC is certified organic by PCO.
